Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidalaya (GGU) Central University located at Bilapspur Chhattisgarh. This university authorized in 16 June 1983.

Guru Ghasidas university established by Central University Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009.This university located in Bilaspur by Act of the State legislative Assembly. 

GGU is member of the Association of Indian university and Commonwealth universities Associations.   The university is aptly name to honor of Guru Ghasidas born in 107th century in Chhattisgarh, Saint Guru Ghasidas fight with destitute and conduct determined struggle against social evils and injustice prevalent in the society. In cause GGU situated in socially and economically challenged area.

To self finance seat , registration of Rs. 30,000   is to be paid at the time of admission.
